Nutrition Program

Who: All Students K-12 are able to access the program. 

 

What: Hot breakfast once a week and other breakfast items such as fruit, chocolate milk, white milk and granola bars available everyday. Lunch is a shared effort between Tootinaowaziibeeng and Grandview School K-12. Grandview School K-12 provides granola bars and juice boxes while Tootinaowaziibeeng provides the rest of the lunch. Our Home-Economics classes contribute with breakfast and snack items regularly. Snacks available for students throughout the day.

 

Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Lunch from 12:05 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Snacks are available throughout the day

 

Two Educational Assistants look after the breakfast items including the hot breakfast. Ordering of supplies is a task shared by administration and the above two educational assistants. Students, educational assistants and our custodians help put things away and keep everything organized.
