Manitoba Education has advised that all schools in Manitoba transition to full remote learning for a one-week period from Jan. 10-14, 2022, inclusive. MVSD schools will be closed to in-person learning for students for the duration of this timeframe, with the exception of Kindergarten to Grade 6 students who are children of Critical Service Workers (CSWs) who cannot make alternative care arrangements and children with special needs. On Dec. 22, 2021, Mountain View School Division was informed by the Minister of Education, the Honourable Cliff Cullen, that the Christmas Break for all Manitoba schools will be extended by two days and students will return to the classroom on Monday, January 10, 2022. The Province of Manitoba is making rapid tests for COVID-19 available to students in kindergarten to Grade 6 throughout Manitoba. At this time, MVSD is uncertain as to the date of when we will receive our supply. We anticipate that the delivery will take place early in the new year. The use of these tests is optional, and families may opt out of receiving a test kit. Please click on the link for more information.

Mountain View School Division is offering an online Activity Time Program for children born in 2017 or 2018. There is no cost and the program will have songs, finger plays, stories, crafts and more! Registration is required to receive your code to access a private video at your convenience. Supplies will be provided for you to pick up at your local elementary school!
